WAITING ON HONEYBOURNE STATION
Arrived at Honeybourne station in the Cotswolds and waited for the train to Paddington.
NOT Leaving HoneyBourne Station
The train was cancelled because there was no crew available to run it and so we had to wait for a hour until the next one arrived.
LEAVING THE TRAIN AT PADDINGTON
I quite like the design and livery of the Great Western trains. In the past I used to use this service quite regularly – Hereford to London in 3 hours – can’t be bad!
PADDINGTON UNDERGROUNd
The underground was quite busy because it was half term and so parents were bringing the kids into London to keep them occupied. It was also raining quite heavily outside.
UNDERGROUND ENTRANCE TO V&A
I came across this interesting brass inscription in the passageway between South Kensington station and the Victoria and Albert museum.
POSTER IN CAR EXHIBITION
Those were the days, when we used to design and build things. Hopefully there will be a revival now that we have left the EU!
RADIATOR FILLER CAP
They don’t make filler caps like this any more. Form follows function like they used to say at the Bauhaus. Still looks beautiful and impressive though.
